So at E3 Bungie finally gave us the first look at Halo 3. I think I'm the only Halo fan that really didn't see this coming. Sure I expected a little information about "their next project," maybe even confirmation that it was indeed the third installment in the Halo series, but I sure was pleasantly suprised when I caught wind of a Halo 3 announcement trailer. So of course I hurried to download it and invite my buddies to come watch it with me. Just seeing Halo 3 shocked me. Then I heard Cortana's voice intermingled with Gravemind's, and saw Master Chief walking toward the camera.

Hot damn! What the hell is going on at earth? A huge fleet of Covenant ships massing over a structure, the structure begins to open, and everyone books it! Probably the Ark? I think I speak for many Halo fans out there when I say that I can't wait till Summer 2007 to find out.
